One of my favourite things to watch on YouTube are hauls! I love watching what people got and I’m always interested in trying out new things. I thought I’d make regular posts on stuff that I have gotten recently for people like me who enjoy these sort of things.
These are my latest online purchases, all of these products are cult favourites and they have been so hype up on YT. I wanted to see for myself if they live up to it!
1) Liz Earle’s Essentials Try-Me Kit – This kit includes the famous Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, which comes with a muslin cloth to exfoliate the skin. I read reviews about their entire skincare line & it’s apparently really good. I wanted to sample them before committing to the full sizes. I have to say, I loved their packaging, they also included samples of their new Sheer Skin Tint foundation in the three different shades that it comes in. I’ve tried it on today and I absolutely loved it! I will definitely get it with my next purchase.
2) MoroccanOil Dry-No-More Scalp – I have a very dry and sensitive scalp and this sounds promising.
3) MoroccanOil – This also has gotten rave reviews on YT. It basically works as a defrizzer and as a heat protectant. It’s such a THICK oil, I wouldn’t use it as an all-over-the-hair treatment, I imagine it to be a nightmare to get out of the hair. lol.
4) Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose – I’ve tried this from my friend S. and I loved it so much, I had to get it. It’s so moisturising and give off a subtle color to your lips, so pretty. I prefer the tubey lip butters to the ones that come in pots, they’re more hygienic.

I’ve searched high and low for this make-up remover here in Doha but to no avail. I’ve looked in Boots, pharmacies – basically anywhere where Bioderma is sold, but I can never find it! I even had it on my long stuff-to-order-off-the-net list.
Well, today we were out and we decided to make a quick stop at Lulu Center, the Gharafa branch. I went to the pharmacy there (I can’t resist) and lo and behold, they had it! I quickly grabbed one and went about my business.
This doesn’t look like much in the bottle, looks like just plain water, hence the H2O part but it works amazingly well. It literally removed all of my eye make-up with just one cotton pad (one for each eye, of course!) and every bit of make-up I had on my face.
I ran another cotton pad all over, just to see if there’s anything left, but there was hardly anything at all.
The best part? It doesn’t leave my eyes with a stingy sensation that make-up wipes leave me with! Or that icky residue from using oil-based make-up removers.
I see what all the hype is about now.
